LAREAL from the air
- 1954 - Founding of the first Feed chemical laboratory in Vannes by the GUYOMARC’H company
- 1964 - The lab moves to Saint Nolff, 6 miles East of Vannes, it includes a microbiology and a chemistry units
- 1970 - The range of analyses widens to pet food – drugs – food – ingredients – flavours - vitamins by HPLC
- 1986 - First calibration of a NIR instrument
- 1994 - First Accreditation by COFRAC (COmité FRançais d’ACcréditation) - Creation of the R&D team
- 1996 - LAREAL (LAboratoire de REcherche ALimentaire) is launched. First customers from outside the parent company
- 2001 - Fourth extension of the facility with the building of the Molecular Biology Unit
- 2002 - Accreditation according to the ISO/CEI 17025 standard is successfully obtained
- 2004 - Launching of the Training programs for lab technicians with professional partners like ARCHIMEX (Vannes) and BIPEA (Paris)
